This is quite a common occurrence, and you might have faced this situation yourself. After reading a book or attending a workshop on personal development, the law of attraction or any other subject related to personal development, you become inspired and motivated. You suddenly discover that you can make changes in your life. You start practicing what you have learned, and you soon obtain visible results. You feel elated and satisfied that you are making progress, but then, all of a sudden, nothing seems to work anymore. You affirm and visualize or follow other techniques, but nothing happens. This is quite frustrating. Some people abandon their hopes and expectations, feeling they are facing a wall. Others read book after book or participate in endless workshops, believing that this will help them understand better the inner laws. This sometimes turns into an obsession of reading one book after another, and practically doing nothing. Why does this happen? Why the techniques work at first and then stop bring results? Tags: Affirmations, personal growth, visualizationIf your mind is like a house with wide open windows and doors, with nothing to sort or filter out what comes in, all thoughts are free to enter, dwell there and disturb and affect your mind and life. In this situation there is lack of control over your mental house and over what goes inside it. Under these conditions the mind allows free access to thoughts, ideas, words and suggestions coming from the outside, from people, the media or from other sources. For most people, this is the natural state of affairs. However, some seek a way to close the doors and windows of your mind and prevent unnecessary, useless or negative thoughts from occupying their mind and robbing their time and energy. Someone, who has the key to the doors and windows of his mind, can prevent unnecessary thoughts and worries from occupying his mind. Such a person can choose to think or stop thinking at will. Such a person can enjoy inner peace and be in a state free from worries and anxieties. Tags: mind, thoughts
Opulence means plenty, wealth and riches, but this is not restricted only to money. There can be opulence of love, opulence of happiness, opulence of peace and other states of opulence. The law of opulence is the mental law of success. Through this law people attract things, people and events into their life. In the above-mentioned book The History of Mind, Richard Ingalese says: “If you have no possessions, then it is because you have not used the law of opulence for your own benefit. It is a well-known fact in Occultism that everyone has now just what he deserves, and this is as true relative to opulence as it is to spiritual and mental qualities.” Richard Ingalese further says that to put the law of opulence into operation it is necessary to realize three things: 1. That everything you want exists now in Divine Mind. 2. Realize that all things belong to Deity and that you can only have temporary use of them. 3. We should realize that all things are distributed by the Universal Consciousness according to law. One man is not poverty-stricken and another man a millionaire by chance, fatalism or caprice; but everything is distributed according to the law of mental demand or of asking and receiving. How do you put the law of opulence into operation in your life? - You need to know what you want. The law of opulence, the law of attraction, creative visualization and other similar terms are different labels for the same subject. The following books can help you put the law of opulence into operation: I have been looking for an English dictionary and Thesaurus and came across TheSage’s English Dictionary and Thesaurus published by Sequence Publishing.
