		<description>Affirmations can indeed be powerful assets in our lives. Stating them in the present is also effective. I have a set which I routinely listen to while driving. I&#039;ve found an increased ability to maintain an upbeat mood as a result of frequent exposure to these statements. They&#039;ve enhanced my life quite a bit. Affirmations don&#039;t necessarily have to come in a structured form. The Bible is replete with positive statements. Numerous books have been written on the effectiveness of the positive word. They are there for our edification.
