			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img align="left" src="http://www.successconsciousness.com/images/pool-mountains.jpg" hspace="10" alt="Positive Thinking" />It is rather easier to feel positive when everything goes well, but real positive thinking is revealed when you can maintain it difficult times. It is then that you need it most.</p>
<p>In difficult times, when there are problems and the economic condition is tough, it is so easy to get into negative thinking and self-pity, and be sucked into a vicious circle of worries, fears and the expectation of more problems, lack of money or poverty.</p>
<p>You may read books and articles on positive thinking, and believe that you are positive, but when difficulties and rough times appear, you just forget everything and focus on the problems and difficulties, instead of believing in yourself, looking for solutions and seeking and seizing opportunities.</p>
<p><strong>If you have no job, no money and the future looks bleak you might:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Indulge in self-pity and feel bad and helpless.</li>
<li>Indulge in worries and fears and expect more problems.</li>
<li>Become resentful and angry at the world and at successful people.</li>
<li>Be sad and focus on your problems.</li>
</ul>
<p><span id="more-121"></span></p>
<p>Does this attitude help you in anything? No, it will only get you deeper into problems, because when you see and expect problems you create more problems. This is where positive thinking and positive attitude are required. It is true, it is not so easy to reject negative thinking in such circumstances, and even if you try, you might find yourself again and again reverting to negative thinking and dwelling on your problems.</p>
<p>If you have lost your way in a forest, will thoughts about your predicament help you? If you just sit down on a rock, and think and imagine that you will never find your way out help you in any way?</p>
<p>If you have failed, lost money or your job, will thinking how bad your condition is help you find a new job or earn money?</p>
<p>Wherever you are now, whatever your situation is, there is always a way out. This might require a different way of thinking, a different approach or developing new skills. Forget the past, as you cannot change it, but you can change your present, and when you change your present, you also change your future.</p>
<p>Keeping a positive attitude, expecting the best, striving to do the best and refusing to indulge in self-pity, negative thinking and worries is the road to a better and happier life.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Being motivated is important for anything you do, whether it is studying or making friends, learning a foreign language or bodybuilding, starting a new career or improving your financial condition. It is also important for success with self improvement and success in meditation. It is a driving force that is required for anything you do, small or big.</p>
<p>Motivation is the driving force that keeps you energized and focused on your goal. It gives you the inner strength to go on and do whatever is required to achieve goals.</p>
<p>From what I see and hear from people, many lack motivation, and this leads to laziness, lack of ambition and to dissatisfaction. In order to achieve anything, one has to strengthen the motivation.</p>
<p><strong>How can you strengthen your motivation?</strong></p>
<p>Imagination and thoughts are strong factors in this respect. Visualizing what you would like to do or achieve, or repeating affirmations increase motivation, but you have to be careful not to think contradictory thoughts. It is no use visualizing or affirming for a few minutes, and then thinking negatively the rest of the day.</p>
<h5>Here are a few suggestions for strengthening your motivation:</h5>
<p><span id="more-71"></span></p>
<p>1. Start with small goals. Later you can try strengthening your motivation in regard to bigger goals.</p>
<p>2. Choose something you would really like to do.</p>
<p>3. Choose reasonable goals at the beginning, as it is easier to strengthen the motivation with such goals. Later, you can try to strengthen your motivation regarding goals that now seem impossible for you.</p>
<p>4. Make your goal very clear. Writing it down will help.</p>
<p>5. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.successconsciousness.com/index_000050.htm">Visualize</a> your goal as already accomplished and close your mind to contrary thoughts.</p>
<p>6. Repeat <a target="_blank" href="http://www.successconsciousness.com/books/affirmations_words_power.htm">affirmations</a>, positive statements or <a target="_blank" href="http://www.successconsciousness.com/quotes.htm">quotes</a> that inspire you and create enthusiasm in you. You can find them in books or on the Internet or at this website.</p>
<p>7. While visualizing, feel the joy you will get upon accomplishing your goal.</p>
<p>8. Whenever you have doubts, replace them with positive thoughts, and if this is difficult, engage yourself in doing something that diverts your attention to something else.</p>
<p>9. Read books or articles about successful people.</p>
<p>10. Never give up, even if it seems to you to be a hopeless situation.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Motivation is an important ingredient for success. It is the power that kindles the fire to do things and to act, and has much to do with ambition and desire. In fact, without ambition and desire there is no motivation. When motivation is strong, there is ambition, and when there is strong ambition there is motivation.</p>
<p>Often, people get motivated to do something, learn something, accomplish something, but this motivation is too often short lived and evaporates after a little while. How do you feel after reading something that inspires you, or after watching a movie that awakens your ambition to succeed? You feel the desire to experiment or accomplish what you have read or seen. You feel a sense of euphoria and happiness, but too often, these feelings go away on the same day or the next one.</p>
<p>Why does this happen?<br />
Because you don&#8217;t really want to achieve what you have read or seen.<br />
You are too busy and forget about it.<br />
It requires too much effort.<br />
It requires that you make certain changes in your life.<br />
It takes time to accomplish goals.</p>
<p><span id="more-47"></span></p>
<p>If you think about it, you will come up with many more reasons why you lose your desire and motivation.</p>
<p>To keep the fire of motivation, you need to strengthen your desire, have faith in yourself, and be willing to work toward accomplishing your goals. You need to keep fuelling the fire of desire and ambition in order to keep your motivation alive.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be afraid of effort or failure. The road is often bumpy and you might fall or fail, but keep getting up with a smile on your face, and with the faith and belief that you can achieve your goal. Never say &#8216;I can&#8217;t', always say &#8216;I can&#8217;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Motivation to act, do things, study or attain success in any field often comes through outside triggers. The desire and motivation can arise after watching a movie, reading a book or hearing about someone who has achieved success.</p>
<p>The motivation that arises is often short lived. How many times have felt elated and motivated to follow a desire or ambition, after watching a movie or reading a book? What happened to the desire and motivation half an hour later, a day later or a week later? In most cases it has evaporated. Why? Either because the desire was not strong enough, you lacked enough inner strength and persistence, or your day-to-day life made you forget it.</p>
<p>A single, one-time motivational trigger is usually not enough. Certain events or situations might arouse in you motivation and ambition, and drive you to make resolutions, but after you are out of that situation, everything returns to normal and you forget your resolution.</p>
<p>Success requires constant motivation, besides other qualities. So how could you produce a constant flow of motivation to carry you through obstacles, laziness, fears or negative thinking?</p>
<p><strong>Make a list of what you find to arouse motivation in you, such as:</strong></p>
<p># A list of motivational books</p>
<p># A list of motivational movies</p>
<p># A list of inspiring quotes</p>
<p># Success stories</p>
<p># Photos of things you want to do</p>
<p># Photos of things you want to get</p>
<p># A list of people who have an uplifting effect on you</p>
<p>Every day, devote some time to one or more item on your list. In this way you can keep the motivation, and ambition alive.</p>
