New Theme for the Blog

It is time for change, and as you can see, I have changed the theme of the blog. You can still find the same articles, only the format and look have changed, and I hope you like them.

I have changed the theme of the blog to the Studiopress Genesis Framework, Magazine theme, which is versatile, and easily managed.

The current format is not final, as I am still experimenting with the layout, colors and placement of the various links.

Do you like the new format of the blog?
Do you miss the picture, which was at the top of the blog?
Do you like the colors?

I would appreciate your feedback about the blog, and if you have any suggestions and constructive ideas, I would be glad if you write to me. You can either comment in the comment field below, or email me your feedback, thoughts or suggestions, through the email form.

By the way, I would appreciate if you use the follow us on twitter and follow us on Facebook buttons at top of this post, and at the top of the other articles.

I Fixed The Fan of My Computer

By Remez Sasson

My computer has been making a lot of noise lately, especially in the first 2-3 minutes after switching it on. I have been told that this has to do either with too much dust, and therefore, it needs to be cleaned, or it is a problem with the fan.

Since the computer worked all right, only making a loud noise, I continued working with it. Finally, after quite a while, I decided to fix it, since leaving it in this condition might cause some serious problems.

Today, I backed up all the content of the computer on an external hard drive, to be on the safe side, and took it to a computer shop to be fixed. The technician at the shop fixed it in just about 10 minutes, so I could take my computer back, without leaving it there. He replaced the fan with a new one, and cleaned the computer from the dust.

The Swimming Dog, the Geese, and the Ducks

By Remez Sasson

DucksThere is a big and beautiful park, not far from where I live, with large meadows of green grass, trees, and a big artificial small lake in the middle, with plenty of ducks, geese and other various water birds.

Yesterday, I went with my wife to the park to have a walk. As we were walking on the promenade along the lake, we saw a man and a woman walking with their dog. The dog, which was without a leash, became excited at the sight of the ducks, geese and other water birds, and started running to and fro, along the bank of the lake.

After a little while its confidence rose, and it started chasing after the ducks and geese, which started walking slowly towards the water, and swimming away from the shore.

Suddenly, with no warning, the dog jumped into the lake and started swimming, chasing the flocks of the ducks and the other water birds. This was so weird, a small dog, only its head seen above the water, swimming with a big flock of water birds. Wherever they swam, it swam after them, unheeding its owners’, calling it to come back.

The dog swam far from the shore, but after a few minutes it started to swim back. At midway, it met another flock of birds, and the chase in the water started again.

Suddenly, a big bird circled above the dog and landed right before it. The dog didn’t panic, and began swimming after it, until it lost interest and swam back to the shore. All this happened to the hilarious laughter of the spectators, who couldn’t believe their eyes.

I wish I had a video camera with me, as this was no ordinary sight.
