I am now in the middle of packing everything, because we are moving to another town. It is strange how much stuff one collects and never uses, until one moves away and has to decide what to do with the stuff. Often, we just store in our drawers, wardrobe or storage room, all kind of stuff we don’t really need, but we which we don’t want to throw away. The time of moving is a great time to get rid of all this unnecessary stuff.

I once read somewhere that when you clean up your house of unnecessary or not so useful stuff, new stuff comes in. Even if you just clean up a drawer, sometimes, money or something else comes in. It might sound strange, but I have seen this work. By creating a physical vacuum, you make space for something new to come in. There is a mental explanation to this phenomena, but this should be the subject of a different article.

Anyway,in two weeks time we are moving to a different town and there is a lot of work to do, sorting out things, packing everything into crates, and then moving to the new address, unpacking and putting everything in place.

Has anyone any idea how to make SuccessConsciousness’s forum more active, and how to increase the number of registered and active users?? There are now about 890 registered users, but many are inactive, who have never posted a single post. As with many forums, there are more visitors than active participants. I would like to add that the number of the forum’s registered users doesn’t even come near to the number of daily visitors to the website, which is a much higher number.

There are several subjects discussed on the forum, which cover various topics related to the website:

1. Positive thinking, creative visualization.
2. Self improvement.
3. Achieving success.
4. The Inner Powers.
5. Spiritual growth, meditation, nonduality, Advaita Vedanta.
6. General, off-topic subjects.

What do you think need to be changed, added or improved? Do you think the forum’s script need to be changed, its color, the topics or something else? Do you have any suggestions how to make the forum more active?

There are many people interested in the topics that the forum covers, as evidenced by the number of visitors to the website, and by the articles they read. A more active forum, with more people posting their comments, questions and answers, and sharing their experiences, can benefit everyone.

You can either:

1. Post a comment at this blog.

2. Send us a message.

3. Discuss this subject at the forum, under the ‘general, off-topic subjects’.

Thank you for your help.

Nikola Tesla was great inventor, who developed the induction motor, new types of generators and transformers, a system of alternating current power transmission, fluorescent lights, and a new type of steam turbine.

Nikola Tesla was born on July 9, 1856, in the village of Smiljan, in Croatia, which was then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and in 1891 became a U.S. citizen.

Nikola Tesla was known for his unusual mental abilities. He had a photographic memory and was able to use creative visualization with an unusual and practical intensity. He describes in his autobiography how he was able to visualize a particular apparatus and was then able to actually test run the apparatus, disassemble it and check for proper action and wear.

During the manufacturing phase of his inventions, he would work with all blueprints and specifications in his head. The invention invariably assembled together without redesign and worked perfectly.

It is said that Nikola Tesla slept one to 2 hours a day and worked continuously on his inventions and theories without benefit of ordinary relaxation or vacations. He was able to judge the dimension of an object to a hundredth of an inch and perform difficult computations in his head without benefit of slide rule or mathematical tables.

Last evening I went to see a performance of the Irish dance group Spirit of the Dance. As I understand, Spirit of the Dance is not one dancing group, but several groups under the same name, which are touring the world, and giving the same performance in various places around the world.

I have read that more than thirty million people around the world have seen Spirit of the Dance, and that it is the winner of nine Global Awards, including “Best Choreography” and Best International Production. (more…)

When I started building my website I had to find it a name. I thought of various options, but none of them was satisfactory or appealing.

One day the term Success Consciousness came to my mind, and I immediately realized that it was the right name. Even though it was a bit too long, it aptly described the website in more than one way:

# The website is about success.

# The website talks about success in various areas, the material, mental and the spiritual.

# The website teaches how to think in a way that attracts and creates success, and helps in developing a positive attitude.

# A great part of the website is devoted to developing the attitude and consciousness of success, which is important for any achievement.

# A great part of the website is devoted to spiritual growth and awakening, which have much to do with consciousness and awareness and how to bring them to higher levels.

Considering the subjects the website covers and its aims, I decided that SuccessConsciousness.com was the right name for it.
