Sometimes people ask whether it is possible to win the lottery by using creative visualization.
There are millions of people who desire to win the lottery. Some spend more time thinking about winning, while others just pay for a ticket and don’t spend too much time thinking about it. Some visualize their number winning, while others just visualize winning, without referring to a particular ticket number.
There is just one big prize in each draw, so usually, only one person can win it. This means that if you want to influence the winning number with the power of your thoughts, this power has to be stronger than the combined power of thoughts of all the millions of people that are expecting to win. This is quite impossible, unless you possess tremendous powers of concentration. Usually, the mental energy you put forth through visualization is neutralized by the thoughts of all the other millions of people, all desiring and expecting to win. Under such circumstances, it is quite unreasonable to believe that you can influence the winning number.
If you wish to win the first prize, it will be more reasonable to visualize yourself winning, but without focusing the mind on definite numbers, a particular lottery or a certain date, but just letting the Universe take care of the numbers and time. This approach is more advisable, because if you visualize winning a certain lottery or a certain number, you will probably get disappointed and lose faith in the power of the mind if you don’t win.
If your goal is to be rich, it is more advisable to focus the mind on a different goal, and work toward achieving it by using creative visualization and affirmations, and also by taking appropriate actions and doing something about it, rather than trying to win through the lottery. In this way you have greater chances of achieving success and getting what you want. If you want to be rich, why limit yourself to the lottery?
There are many ways to get rich other than through the lottery. Creative visualization can attract you the right people, the right idea, the right job, the right opportunity and the right circumstances, so don’t limit your opportunities and winning money to one channel. Visualize a goal, money or a job, and keep your mind open to every opportunity that presents itself.
I don’t mean to say that you cannot win the lottery through visualization. I am saying that your chances to succeed with visualization are greater, when you focus your mind on other goals.
If you visualize being wealthy, there are millions of channels through which this wealth can flow to you. If you visualize working in a certain kind of job, you are not competing with millions of people about it. There are probably many such jobs, and if there are not, new ones can be created. If you desire a new car, you just visualize one. There are many millions of such cars being manufactured. In these cases, you are not limiting your opportunities to one opportunity, and such goals are usually more reasonable than expecting to win the lottery.

Of course it is not intelligent to limit oneself to one opportunity. But your advice here sounds like the advice of my grandmother: Work hard and be reasonable…
Which reason? Yours, mine, the neigbours?
The word ‘reasonable’ might be a little misleading, so I made some changes to this post.
What I meant was that it is more reasonable, and there are more chances of success, if you visualize other means of making money, than visualizing winning a certain lottery, on which millions of others focus their minds too.
If you believe in your goal, no matter how big it is, and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it, then you have every chance of success.
I believe that subconcious has tremendous power, potential to give oneself million of dollars or pounds with the help of lottery, if he just believe 24 hours a day . Subconcious is afterall universal intelligence. Just let the feelings of millions of pounds goes into subconcious mind, then observe you will definitely hit the jackpot. This is because feelings become the habit and universal mind has to give you. It just need 100% faith on yourself and universe. Remember one single negative command could (may) destroy whole process and you will have to re do it.
I love your article… I find everything that I read on Positive Affirmations to be true.. However, I understand why people question you with using the word reasonable, and I believe I understand your reason for using it… But here is something I would like to share, recently I have really focused my mind on these positive ways of thinking and creating what you dream. I continue to win on every lottery ticket I’ve played for the last two months… Some would say that the prizes I have won aren’t that big… But I’d say that they all mean the same amount of big to me… I get so excited that my numbers match… so I continue to attract matching numbers… And it doesn’t matter if it’s quick pick or my own numbers… Since watching these affirmations, I have of course become more aware of my thoughts, and find myself day dreaming, thinking about how I won a jackpot, and I visit my sister to give her an envelope with a “Thank you for being my sister” note and a check for lots of money, from me! I am able to help all the families that have helped and influenced me. When several months ago I was thinking about getting evicted, and those thoughts were not helpful… And who wants to really think about that… It feels better to think different!
I see myself, standing at the Arizona Lottery, waiting for them to check my ticket… I hear them call out from the back office or somewhere to the rep assisting me “it’s real!”!… I get this feeling in my stomach… like, OMG, I just won the jackpot! I get goose bumps… The first thing I think of is getting to Chicago with that envelope… And how my son is one of the luckiest kids on earth…
These are my thoughts… And since I started seeing this vision as well as many affirmations that “move” me… And focused on a set of winning numbers (a number or two have come out in every mega/powerball game I have played the last few days) I see more and more everyday that confirms that there isn’t much substance in the word reasonable when it comes to attracting the thoughts of the mind… But, I truly loved reading your article, may you continue to grow.

I totally agree on this article about winning the lottery 75 percent of all people who win the lottery go broke or even bankrupt in two to three years of the day of there winnings.
Since winning the lottery is an instant hit of joy and exictment they tend to buy things they don’t need and eventually end up as they first started.
In my opinion I would have to say earning million(s) of dollars such as planning, visualizing, attracting the right people, circumstances and opportunities would be more fulling and truly more gratitifing for the mind, body and spirit.

I have only been practicing for the second day on positive affirmations and visualizations on winning the lottery. I do believe that positive thoughts bring positive results. My goal is to not play the lottery until I 100% have full faith in winning. I believe in a few weeks that I will be there. I have been doing some research on positive thoughts an winning the lottery.
