I was just thinking the same thing last night; that there are so many books not only about the law of attraction, but about any subject. I think it's because most people don't really dig deep inside themselves to find the unique theme their life is about; everyone just wants to make a quick buck and thus tries to follow the trends (because that's what the market wants supposedly). One should give the market what it wants, right? Maybe not, because what most people want is mostly NOT something that they really need, or they think/believe they need it, but for the wrong reasons (again, because they haven't discovered their inner calling yet). So my approach has been to unclutter my mind rather than read more books. I use a process called the unconditional freedom process to simply get rid of the negative thoughts and emotions for good, so that they are no longer attract unwanted conditions. This is actually much easier than trying to visualize all the great things like cars and big homes and million dollar checks, and trying to feel how great it would feel if I had them (I think that's basically what the secret and LOA teachings are I think), because that's very hard to do when the negative stuff is lurking behind the scenes ready to pounce on those lofty thoughts and emotions. The result of this simple process is spontaneous happiness, health, inner peace and spiritual awareness, which as you mentioned are as important as (I'd even say more important than) money and possessions.

yes,you are right, that books and new articles about the law of attraction are published almost every day. They grow like mushrooms, because everyone wants to take part in this new fashion,to get rich quick that's all about, but you also always find genuine people, who has experience and what to share with others, what they have learned. I like your article, thanks for your insight
