This Year… Make Your Life Better… Every Day!

Better Life

Most people are disappointed for what they have achieved in life within a year. Actually, you can start changing your life for the better this year! It is not really difficult to make and begin the changing. What you just need is to have a plan, execute it, and keep reviewing it to ensure you are on track to achieve your goals.

Here are 7 tips that should help to improve your life:

1. Start at home by sorting out what you want, and don’t want, in your closet, kitchen, refrigerator, garage and garden

Tidy your home! Go to your closet. Take out the old clothes that you never wear in years. Keep what you really want and need to wear in this year or so, and give the rest to charity.

Then go to your living room, windows and kitchen. Start cleaning the floor, vacuum the carpet, clean the window glass or mirror with using glass cleaner. Wash the dishes, mugs and clean your stove, oven and microwave.

Finally, take out all the garbage in the trash can. Do all these a little every day, rather than once a month. Afterward, you will have a much nicer home with clean and much more space every day. Plus you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping the needy.

Will This Year Be Different from the Previous Year?

Magic Fountain

Will this year be different from the previous year?

Maybe it will and maybe it won’t. To a great extent, this depends on you. It depends on how you think and what you do.

Your external life is shaped by your thoughts and by your attitude. The movies, and the images you keep playing in your mind, to a large extent, shape your life, your circumstances, and the situations you go through.

Everyone plays movies in their mind. Often, these are the same movies and images repeated every day, and they are either about your current circumstances, or about problems or “negative expectations”.

If you don’t change the movie and images, and keep looking at them, nothing will never change. The same kind of life will keep repeating itself. You have to change the movies in your head, in order that your life changes.

Do you make New Year resolutions, only to quit them after a week or two?

By making New Year resolutions you start playing a new movie. However, after a week or two, you remove the new CD from the player in your mind, and insert again the old CD, about the same life you had until now. Then, nothing changes, and your life will repeat itself more or less the same the next year, and then the year after.

Creating Changes in Your Life

Creating ChangesBelow, you will find an excerpt from an article, titled “Inner Changes Bring Outer Changes”.

I have written this article a few years ago, but I have revised it today. It is a short article that emphasizes the need for inner changes, in order to create outer changes in your life.

As with most articles on personal development, you need to read the article several times and examine the ideas and thoughts that emerge in your mind.

Often, thinking and analyzing what you read, bring you insight and new ideas, and create changes in the way you see things. Sometimes, what you find between the lines could be of great importance to you, and could bring you the ideas, plans, and motivation to make positive changes in your life.

Achieving Success Requires Patience and Persistence

Patience and Persistence“Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence. “- Hal Borland

If you read attentively the above quote, you will learn a lot about patience and persistence, and with a little deeper thinking, you will see their importance in your life.

Trees need time to grow, and therefore, they symbolize patience.

It is the same with you. You need time to achieve goals, especially big goals, and this requires patience. If you are too impatient, desiring to have immediate results, you might be disappointed and quit your goal.

You have to study, improve yourself, change your mindset, and work toward your goal. You have to water your goal with ambition, motivation and effort, so that it will come true, just as you need to water a tree.

Most trees need years to grow and become big trees. Big goals also need time, and you therefore, need patience, just like a tree.

If you don’t possess enough patience, you need to develop it. It is a skill that can be developed like any other skill.

The Importance of Customer Service

We all know that customer service is of great importance to any kind business, offline and online. A business is about having satisfied customers. For a business to thrive, it needs happy customers, and for happy customers, you have to strive to give quality products and a good service.

I always strive to answer any customer inquiry, as quickly as possible, sometimes, within a few minutes after they send their inquiry or request.

I often receive emails from customers, amazed at the prompt response, even if the response was a few hours after the receipt of their message. A few hours delay still seems to be a quick response by most people.

On rare occasions, some customers send an email, expecting a response in a few minutes, and if they don’t get it, they send another email, and then another one. I totally understand their anxiety, but one message is enough. The message will be read and a response will be sent as soon as possible.

Stuck in the Past

A big part of spirituality – and my own spiritual practice and teaching – has to do with living in the present moment. That’s because it is a crucial element of true happiness. And yet, so many people are living in the past. You may not even realize when you do it, or the extent … Continue Reading…

Instant Success and Instant Coffee

You can make yourself a cup of coffee in a matter of seconds. You can cook dinner in 20-30 minutes. You can learn the words of a song in a few minutes, but can you make big changes in your life within a day or two? Is it realistic to expect becoming wealthy in 15 days or less, doing almost nothing, except if you win the lottery?

Most people expect fast results. They have no patience or staying power, and if something requires time and effort, they quit after a short while. They look for books, workshops or videos that promise immediate results, such as:

  • Get powerful concentration with a few minutes of training
  • Meditate like an expert in 15 days
  • Get anything you want in 30 minutes
  • Get the house of your dreams, or a fancy car, quickly and with no effort
  • Influence people in 5 minutes
  • Write a book in a few days

These are just a few of the many examples you can find if you look at the newspapers, magazines or the Internet.
