A new beginning
New year means new beginning.
A beginning for a change?...
to stand up after stumbling down on the ground?...
of reconciliation to someone?...

Different people have different reasons for a beginning.
But regardless of what your beginning is all about,
New Year is about hope and belief.
It is about this positive feeling in all of us.
That there's always this chance to make things better for us.

RE: A new beginning
Well, I wouldn't say that it was a huge influx of money or anything, but there was a time when I was really really broke, but at the same time, my needs were low.

So I kept having all these little things come through.

Like I went to my mailbox and I got a 'thank you for your donation' letter, addressed to me, with two tickets to Marine World in it. Since I had no money, it was really great.

I also had a huge co-pay for my cancer treatments that I couldn't pay, and someone told me about a foundation that paid it for me. It was amazing.

I run the Universal Life Church Seminary and help people get ordained and reach their spiritual goals.

The New Year has always been an inspiration for most people to set "New Year's Resolutions." These give everyone an opportunity to start-over, try new things, and make whatever improvements we feel is necessary in our lives.

Financial hopelessness ... no.
But I was in a very dark place a couple of years back. A place where there was no hope. Just hurt and sadness. Yet I was surrounded with Light and Love and could not see it.

As far as finances go ... well I try to do positive affirmations as much as I can. And they have worked! Unexpected checks coming in the mail, more $$ in my accounts than I had expected. One needs to be open and receptive to abundance of wealth in this world and believe that they are deserving of it.
