Expanding Your Consciousness
When you look around you, read the newspapers, or watch the news on TV, what do you see? You see people of various nations, religions and groups, some living in harmony with others and some not in harmony. Some hate or fight each other, and others try to live in peace.

You see people with problems, living with anxiety or stress, and also people with aspirations, hope and ambitions.

Everyone thinks and looks at the world through the mind – ego – mental programming. It is like looking at the world through colored eyeglasses. Every person lives within his/her small world, which is often the only reality for him/her.

Thi is an excerpt from Expanding Your Consciousness – A Glimpse Of Spiritual Awakening

RE: Expanding Your Consciousness
Buddhists say that we have two essential minds, the "Big" mind and the "Small " mind.

Most of us spend more time in the small mind, although everyone experiences some degree of "big mind" periodically.

One thing I like to do is to go to water. When I sit and look out over a pond, lake or wide river or the Ocean, the wide expanse opens me to my big mind.

Yes, sometimes, we create our own reality. It's still up to us if we want to see our life as half-empty or half-full.

It depends on an individual person and the way he thinks, but that's true that mostly people think in a negative way only and this is the reason why they are facing problems. Inspite of this one should always think positive and also motivate others to move towards a new life which is fill with happiness .

RE: Expanding Your Consciousness
The interesting thing about consciousness is that society has become so busy and frenetic that it is almost difficult for some people to slow down and draw a deep breath. It is when we are able to draw these big breaths that we can actually see the bigger world and its beauty.

Talking about television or news media, they are filled with bad news which tends to sell more and when people's consciousness or even subconscious mind is filled with these down beat news, it does interfere generally with people's ability to see harmony, love, peace, hope, etc.

Taking a few moments here and there to reflect, meditate, walk in the park or even do some leisurely things that will bring laughter and joy, will go a long way in lifting the mind and allowing oneself to see and appreciate the beauty in the Universe

RE: Expanding Your Consciousness
Well consciousness lies within yourself and the best way to make it more live is by meditating and spending more time in concentrating and getting your thoughts into one point.

Yes every one look for the things they want to learn or achieve, but life is long journey of learning and observations. There are a lot of ways to see things happening in the world and a wise person always learn from it and thanks God for having the things he has. Some people do not look to such better things and they have their own bitter thoughts already develop in their minds. So always be positive in learning and join others in such better things to have a good thinkers group in the society.

RE: Expanding Your Consciousness
if all of life is made of light and light is constantly balanced half negative half positive instantaneously then could it perhaps be your values that are being reflected back to you by others what you have not loved or balanced within yourself? there is not one thing in life that does not serve. due to the eight areas of life, most people (mental IS one of them) do not look at life that way btw, many see it emotionally, spiritually, physically, socially (look at facebook-wow) monetarily, mentally, more.

due to our physical nature that is slowed down to this 3rd dimensional vibratory existence, we are a "slave" to your last statement in our "reality" which is our perceptions, which is seeing one side of any and all two-sided events. our "charges" are unavoidable, even though there is a clear method to dissolve them, a new one always pops up. i suppose if we ended up dissolving all charges we would "disappear".

what if the world was viewed from outside this world? there may be more balance then most realize. as humans we emanate our "light energy" in the form of "scaler waves". this unique source has been captured by Kirlian photography and then been able to input that signature of frequency and put into a little "black box" that interfaces with a computer and amazing software-this is what is used to treat astronauts from the ground while up in space. from outside our atmosphere earth appears to look like ONE big scaler wave using that scientific technology to view it. we are all connected in life. since energy and matter CANNOT be created nor destroyed, that makes us all one. Smile
