How to Improve Concentration and Focus
People often ask how to improve concentration and focus. You can improve concentration and focus by practicing concentration exercises every day. You improve your concentration by training it.

Find a place and time that you will not be disturbed.

Turn off your TV and radio, and disconnect your phone.

Sit down comfortably on a chair, with your back straight.

Relax your body.

Take a few deep breaths.

Practice one of the concentration exercises at the concentration exercises page.

People also often ask how they can improve their concentration and focus, when they are so busy, and when their minds are so restless. It is possible, if you are earnest about it, and are willing to invest time and effort in improving your concentration and focus. You can find the time, if you try, and you will gain results, if you are patient and persevering.

Concentration can be fun, if approached in the right way. It should be practiced with joy, positive attitude, optimism, and understanding of its great possibilities.

RE: How to Improve Concentration and Focus
Yes, concentration is indeed the passport to success. As you said, many people are very busy in their work life although sometimes friends say they are too busy to 'calm down' but have time for TV soaps and such like. I think that if someone is serious about calming down, which is a precursor to concentration and focus, it is advisable to start with the simplest of exercises - taking deep belly breaths 10 - 15 times. You'd be surprised how calm you become. With a little bit of practice, you can easily achieve Remez's recommendations.

RE: How to Improve Concentration and Focus
If you pay attention to what you are doing you improve your focus.

People quite often do one thing while thinking about something else. It is true that there are many things that we often do, and therefore we do them automatically, without thinking. Yet, if you pay more attention to your actions you will do them better and improve your concentartion at the same time.

Thank you for sharing such nice topic with us.
I strongly like point that says "Turn off your TV and radio, and disconnect your phone." Because in the today's high tech world most of the people and children have cell phone. People spend all the time on the phone and wasting the time. This also looses our concentration.
I will suggest one more point if you don't mind..

We can do meditation to improve our concentration

Hypnotherapy is an excellent resource for resolving stress and regaining a sense of balance. The seeds of our feelings of powerlessness are often sown in our early years when we indeed were, for all intents and purposes, powerless.
