Secret of Reaching Goal
The Secret Behind reaching the goal is
1. Concentration
2. Positive Thinking
When ever our concentration gets distracted we have to positively think we can achieve the goal and we should put positive affirmations and self talk to our self that we are going in the right path towards the goal.

Yes, and always act on it! Preparing the mindset is good, but in the end, it's still action which gives the ultimate results.

Nice! Most people always talking about reaching goal, by remove limiting beliefs, setting goal, positive attitude, and much more... but they always forgot to add ACTION!

RE: Secret of Reaching Goal
Always that I have a new goal or obstacle in my life I feel overwhelm about the energy that I need to use.
My life is like a big marathon. Is there a way or some exercises to reach goals without feeling exhausted?

Timon, when you feel yourself reaching a breaking point, do something to stimulate your blood. There have been a lot of studies that show 15 minutes of exercise, getting the blood flowing and heart pumping will actually make your capacity to be creative and learn increase dramatically. Go for a nice quick 15min walk, take a quick power nap, even listening to music makes you more alert.

I find that the best thing that I can do is enjoying what I'm doing 100% and if I'm exhausted at the end of a hard days forging ahead towards the goals I want to accomplish, then I'm satisfied.

Something you might want to think about is breaking your goals into smaller goals, so that you can see your micro progress and get more of that excitement(or just good feelings) out of accomplishing a goal.

You may find that some of these tips here for good habits will re-iterate what I've just said here, but also go into more depth on techniques: http://www.exerciseandmind.com/goodhabits.php

Good luck. I'd be interested to hear what you find works for you!

May peace be with you

RE: Secret of Reaching Goal
Goals must be SMART:

1. S--specific. For example, "I want to lose weight." This is wishful thinking. It becomes a goal when I pin myself down to "I will lose 10 pounds in 90 days."

2. M--must be measurable. If we cannot measure it, we cannot accomplish it. Measurement is a way of monitoring our progress.

3. A--must be achievable. Achievable means that it should be out of reach enough to be challenging but it should not be out of sight, otherwise it becomes disheartening.

4. R--realistic. A person who wants to lose 50 pounds in~30 days is being unrealistic.

5. T--time-bound. There should be a starting date and a finishing date.

I hope this helps. Let me know if it works out.

RE: Secret of Reaching Goal
You can also have SMARTER goals

E- Evaluate
R- Re-evaluate

Really these are for long tern goals which need to be more flexible.

Circumstances can change and this may mean that you have to go back to your goals and adjust them. For example, you may have decided that you want to add an extension to your house this year but after making that goal you are offered a promotion at work and as a result you have to move house. Obviously you now won’t need to extend the house you are currently living in.

However, re-evaluating your goals is NOT an excuse to keep moving the goal posts because you are making little or no effort to attain them; it should only be done when you genuinely need to adjust them for good reason. Remember if you cheat with your goals, you are only cheating yourself!

On the upside, you could find that an earnings goal that you set for yourself has been achieved early so you can adjust your goal upwards.

I totally agree with this. Words without action are pretty and not much else. The action(s) must be purposeful because one can take so many actions that lie within their comfort zone but leaves out those ones that are more challenging but directly correlated to the achievement of the result/goal.

It is helpful to check back on yourself always and ask, will this action take me closer to achieving my result/goal? If the answer is 'No', then that action needs urgent review.

When ever our concentration gets distracted we have to positively think we can achieve the goal and we should put positive affirmations and self talk to our self that we are going in the right path towards the goal.

And with actions evaluate how you are going regularly - schedule regular meetings with yourself or with someone who will keep you accountable - that way you stay on track, know you're achieving something and are on way to achieving your goal.

Hope that helped.

RE: Secret of Reaching Goal
I agree that the secret of reaching goals includes concentration (visualization), positive thinking (affirmations), and action (persistence).

Nevertheless, I think that persistence is a result of doing visualization and affirmations correctly. If visualization and affirmations don't move you into action, then you're doing them incorrectly.

The whole point of visualizing and affirming is to fire yourself up, causing you to get off your butt!

Notion -> Emotion -> Motion
