Self value & self-belief
I would like to be able to tell you how I have gained some more self esteem and confidence. Working with a wonderful wellness company. Helping develop the lives of others as well as my own. Let me know if you would like to hear more about it.

Thank You
Christopher

Hello Marilyn. Yes, I'd like to hear more about it, please do. How were you able to gain self esteem and confidence whilst working with a wellness company? Can you share which company is that?

RE: Self value & self-belief
If you want to change your life you need to change how you think and change what you do. Self-help, personal change, being happy: it's up to you. No-one else.

You decide. This is the first step. Self-help starts with you. Self-help and personal change starts with your realisation that it really is in your own hands, and your decision to do something about it.

Your own self-belief is the key to successful life-change, achievement, contentment, and happiness.

Your own mind, particularly positive suggestion and visualisation, will develop your self-belief, and your determination to make successful change to your life.

This page will help you begin to change the way you think, feel and act.

Visit it any time you want to boost your self-belief, to relax, and to regain control of your life and direction.

Print this page and put it above your mirror, above your bed, above your desk, anywhere you'll see it every day.

Make time - actually schedule some time in your planner or diary to do this. It will dramatically improve your mood, attitude, and approach to life, and therefore what you get from life.

Positive suggestion and visualisation, combined with deep relaxation, is an easy way to make powerful positive personal change.

Just going through this relaxation exercise alone will help to change and improve the way you feel. If you combine the relaxation techniques with a repeated script of positive statements, such as the 'I am' script below, you will begin change the way you think, and feel, and act, and all that life offers as a result.

The more you use the relaxation exercise and say or hear the script, then the greater and more sustainable will be the effect.

The time it takes to change depends on different people. Stick with it and it will become easier, more natural, more enjoyable, and it will work.

RE: Self value & self-belief
So Marilyn, you started the topic with a question, but it only makes sense that we build this into a posting on how we each find confidence in ourselves. It might be more constructive to induce change within all of us to create your topics with a lesson, or insight, and then ask us to contemplate about it and write about our own experience.

That being said, I find that I look for confidence from things that are around me. I look to my brain, I look to what I've accomplished, I look towards goals that I've set down and have seen them mature. And also, people that are close to me give me motivation and confidence to continue doing what I'm doing. More of my sentiment is very similar to what is found here: http://www.exerciseandmind.com/positivity.php

I would also like to say that books are a very big inspiration to me. I've found that reading a few very influential books help me become more knowledgeable and confident in what I'm doing. I suspect this is from not only knowledge, but then going out and practicing the things that the book suggest i do, or reflecting within myself about how i am, and reacting accordingly. One book I've found to be very beneficial is 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, go to amazon.com and order it immediately!

May peace be with you

To gain self esteem and confidence is both in our hand, the thing is that one need to find the path through which one gets inspired. As suggested , book is the best thing for that and to bring confidence one should try to speak without hesitation . Other than these there are various things , if followed it is for sure that they are going to succeed.
