I discovered that there are a lot of people who like to read quotes. I mean inspiring and enlightening quotes about different topics. People like to read quotes, because these are concise sentences, expressing wisdom, and awakening motivation, inspiration and happiness.

If you search for quotes on the Internet, you will find a lot of websites displaying quotes, and also many websites dedicated especially for quotes. I too, have included a section with quotes at my website, which you can find at the quotes directory. I am happy to say that these pages are viewed thousands of times every day, by people from all over the world.

There are two questions I would like to answer in this article:
1. Why people love to read quotes.
2. How to read quotes and benefit from them.

It seems to me that a lot of people love to read quotes. If you don’t know that already, there is a large collection of quotes at this website, about various topics related to self-improvement and spiritual growth, which you can find at the Quotes Directory.

You can find quotes about hope, confidence, goals, positive thinking, meditation, peace of mind, and about many other subjects, as well as quotes by various spiritual teachers, such as Sri Ramana maharshi, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, Buddha, the Dalai Lama, and many more.

I have today added some more quotes to the Deepak Chopra Quotes, which you might like reading.

Paul Brunton was a British journalist, philosopher, mystic and traveler, who lived in the years 1898 – 1981. Paul Brunton left a journalistic career to live among yogis, mystics, and holy men, and studied a wide variety of Eastern and Western esoteric teachings. He has written many books, one of them being “A Search in Secret India”, where he wrote about his meeting with Sri Ramana Maharshi, the great Indian Sage.
