Why Visualization Can Help You Change Your Life

By Remez Sasson

If you have read the articles at this website, you would have found that there are many articles on visualization, and on how to use it to improve your life.

How can visualization improve your life? How can imagination make changes in your life? Let’s explore this fascinating subject.

Visualization is a sort of mental programming. You project mental images on the screen of the mind, and in time, shorter or longer, the subconscious mind accepts the mental images, and you start thinking and acting in accordance with these images. This is why it is important to visualize only what you really want, and only things that can improve your life, and which do not hurt others.

What actually happens when you visualize? The mental image is projected on the subconscious mind over and again, and eventually you begin to see the outside world through the mental image in your mind, and you start acting in accordance with this image. It is like a rehearsal that you do in your mind, which eventually changes your outlook, actions, and habits.

When something occupies your mind, be it something positive or something negative, you talk about it, expect it, and see it happening, and this is an important step toward the realization of any goal.

Acting in The Certain Way

Excerpt from The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles

Thought is the creative power or the impelling force which causes the creative power to act. Thinking in a certain way will bring riches to you, but you must not rely upon thought alone, paying no attention to personal action. That is the rock upon which many otherwise scientific thinkers meet shipwreck – the failure to connect thought with personal action.

We have not yet reached the stage of development, even supposing such a stage to be possible, in which a person can create directly from formless substance without nature’s processes or the work of human hands. A person must not only think, but his personal action must supplement his thought. By thought you can cause the gold in the hearts of the mountains to be impelled toward you, but it will not mine itself, refine itself, coin itself into double eagles, and come rolling along the roads, seeking its way into your pocket.

Under the impelling power of the supreme spirit, people’s affairs will be so ordered that someone will be led to mine the gold for you. Other people’s business transactions will be so directed that the gold will be brought toward you. And you must so arrange your own business affairs that you may be able to receive it when it comes to you. Your thought makes all things, animate and inanimate, work to bring you what you want, but your personal activity must be such that you can rightly receive what you want when it reaches you. You are not to take it as charity, nor to steal it. You must give every man more in use value than he gives you in cash value.

The scientific use of thought consists in forming a clear and distinct mental image of what you want, in holding fast to your purpose to get what you want, and in realizing with grateful faith that you do get what you want.

Your faith and purpose positively impress your vision upon formless substance, which has the same desire for more life that you have, and this vision, received from you, sets all the creative forces at work in and through their regular channels of action, but directed toward you.

Two Forms of Imagination

Two Forms of Imagination

Excerpt from the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

The imaginative faculty functions in two forms. One is known as “synthetic imagination,” and the other as “creative imagination.”

Synthetic Imagination:- Through this faculty, one may arrange old concepts, ideas, or plans into new combinations. This faculty creates nothing. It merely works with the material of experience, education, and observation with which it is fed. It is the faculty used most by the inventor, with the exception of the who draws upon the creative imagination, when he cannot solve his problem through synthetic imagination.

Creative Imagination:-Through the faculty of creative imagination, the finite mind of man has direct communication with Infinite Intelligence. It is the faculty through which “hunches” and “inspirations” are received. It is by this faculty that all basic, or new ideas are handed over to man.

It is through this faculty that thought vibrations from the minds of others are received. It is through this faculty that one individual may “tune in,” or communicate with the subconscious minds of other men.

The creative imagination works automatically, in the manner described in subsequent pages. This faculty functions ONLY when the conscious mind is vibrating at an exceedingly rapid rate, as for example, when the conscious mind is stimulated through the emotion of a strong desire.

The creative faculty becomes more alert, more receptive to vibrations from the sources mentioned, in proportion to its development through USE. This statement is significant! Ponder over it before passing on.

Visualization and Winning the Lottery

By Remez Sasson

A lot of people have asked if it is possible to use visualization to win the lottery. This article has been written in response to their questions.

Using visualization to win the lottery is quite different from using visualization to gain or achieve other things.

If you want a car, there are many cars in the world, and many more are constantly manufactured. You can buy a car, take a loan to buy one, or work, earn money and then buy it.

It is the same if you wish to own a house, have a new T.V. set, a pair of shoes or a laptop. The same process works if you wish to own a successful business.

With lottery, it is different. There is just one big prize, on which all people focus, and therefore, your chances are smaller. However, you have more chances with winning the small prizes, since usually there are more such prizes, not just one, as the first prize.

There is just one prize, and millions of people are consciously or unconsciously visualizing this prize and expecting to win it. In this case, it is your thoughts against their thoughts. Everyone’s thoughts are competing with other people’s thoughts and neutralizing them.

There is always a higher likelihood of gaining or achieving something, when there are many opportunities and chances, than when there is just one chance. This is why it would be more reasonable to expect success if you visualize a car, a journey abroad, or a new job.

The question is, do you want to win the lottery, or do you want money? Does it matter through which channel you get the money? Does it really have to be through the lottery?

There are people, who do not want to sweat and work hard, or don’t want to be involved in business, and prefer the easy way of winning the lottery, sort of gaining money, without giving anything in return. They believe that lottery is their only way to win big money.
