Imagine yourself watching the same movie many times a day, day after day. After a while you know it by heart and it becomes boring. There are no surprises anymore. Watching it becomes a habit, and you accept it as a way of life. You cannot stop watching it. It becomes a part of your life. You forget that you can watch other movies.
Real life is like this. It is like a movie that we keep watching nonstop. We may not like the whole movie, or only some parts of it, but we keep watching it because it is in front of our eyes.
If we accept the premise that our thoughts are responsible for the kind of life we live, and what we call reality is the replica or projection of our thoughts, we discover a mighty secret.
Why limit our thinking? Why let circumstances dictate what we think? If we constantly think about our existing circumstances, we limit ourselves to experiencing these circumstances and situations over and over again in a variety of forms. We limit our life by not thinking beyond our circumferences. If we keep recreating in our minds the same kind of life, how can anything new happen?
Each person lives within a circle with a limited circumference. Small thoughts limit this circumference.
To widen the circumference of your life, think bigger thoughts. To widen the scope of your life, dare to think beyond your immediate circumstances. Dare to think big. You can think beyond the boundaries of your reality.

Chris Odle writes in his book ”Practical Visualization’, how to obtain a certain amount of money using visualization. Here is an excerpt from his book:
“Obtaining a certain amount of cash
Decide how much you want. Relax. Visualize a bank; It’s no ordinary bank; but a bank where unlimited amounts of funds are available absolutely free of charge.
Think for a name for the bank. See it in your mind’s eye; it could be something like ‘Universal State Bank’ or ‘Free Bank’.
As you can imagine, there’s a bit of queue inside, but people are dealt with surprising quickly. Very soon you reach the cashier. He/she smiles and asks you how much you want. You tell them your requirements and immediately they get the right amount of money out. You feel great as they pass it over, and off you go. As you walk out you feel lighter and grateful. ‘It’s also easy’, you think to yourself. Now spend a few moments visualizing what you will do with the money.”
Quoted from ‘Practical Visualization’ by Chris Odle.
You can find many detailed examples of how to use creative visualization for obtaining money and other things, in the book Visualize and Achieve.

People who wish to use the power of visualization to manifest something in their life, often wonder whether to visualize money or the object they wish to have?
If they visualize money, they might get the money, but it doesn’t mean it will be spent on what they want. There might be other needs with higher priority, so they might get they money they visualized, but it is not certain they will get the object they want. In my opinion, it is always better to visualize exactly what you want.
Suppose you desire to travel abroad, what will make you motivated, strengthen your desire, and energize you to do everything you can in order to travel, visualizing getting the money for the trip, or visualizing yourself on the plane, arriving safely, traveling and enjoying the sights and the food, and having a great time?
You can of course visualize and attract money into your life. If you wish just to be financially independent, then it is all right, but if what you wish is a particular object or doing something that requires money, it would be better to visualize your exact desire accomplished. If money is required to make it come true, it will arrive in some way.

Sometimes people ask whether it is possible to win the lottery by using creative visualization.
There are millions of people who desire to win the lottery. Some spend more time thinking about winning, while others just pay for a ticket and don’t spend too much time thinking about it. Some visualize their number winning, while others just visualize winning, without referring to a particular ticket number.
There is just one big prize in each draw, so usually, only one person can win it. This means that if you want to influence the winning number with the power of your thoughts, this power has to be stronger than the combined power of thoughts of all the millions of people that are expecting to win. This is quite impossible, unless you possess tremendous powers of concentration. Usually, the mental energy you put forth through visualization is neutralized by the thoughts of all the other millions of people, all desiring and expecting to win. Under such circumstances it is quite unreasonable to believe that you can influence the winning number.
